The author, Brandon Stone, is a former United States Marine who spent three years assigned to the Department of State, Office of Diplomatic Security. During this time, he worked at various US Embassies in Europe and North Africa and supplemented security details for Presidents, various cabinet members and Heads of State.  Prior to this assignment, he served two years with the infantry and a year with military police.  Brandon left the Marine Corps as a Sergeant after six years of dedicated service.

Brandon has owned and operated a successful security guard company and private detective agency for the past fifteen years.  In addition, he also owns a nationwide Crime Scene Cleanup Company and ALERT Worldwide, LLC.

Brandon worked three years as a Marion County Special Deputy Sheriff  and has been a reserve police officer since 2000.  He is an active member of IAHSS and ASIS.
